   1. Town halls usually have an agenda though they vary in formality. After the agenda is complete, there is an opportunity for the public to comment.

   1. Be sure you know exactly what you would like to say - this may include a statement or question. 

   2. Make it personal. If you have a story to support your questions or statement, share it. 

   3. Use data. If you have numbers that support your questions or statement, use it. 

4. Follow up 

   1. Send a follow up or email or call the elected officials office to reiterate your questions or statement.
